When to visit?

Over the years the Summer Holidays from December- February, have become a favourite holiday destination for families and people from all over the country and now the world! With an array of fantastic accommodation options from beach and bush camping to luxurious homes on the beach. During summer the water is warm and crystal clear perfect for swimming in all day and afternoon BBQs.Autumn
During Autumn we are treated to pleasant, comfortable days still warm enough to swim and explore. But we start to get a hint of cool morning and evening air. This time of year things start to settle down and through the week it is not uncommon to have whole stretches of beautiful white sand boarded by bush all to your-self.Winter
Once upon a time, winter was a very quite time in Jervis Bay. Our mild winters are now becoming enjoyed by visitors from near and far for weekend and school holiday escapes. PLUS, we have WHALES visit us on their annual migration- which is always very exciting. Once you rug up a whale watching cruise is a fantastic way to spend a glorious winter day in the bay. On a sunny day the water dazzles and is definitely a rewarding experience.Spring
Spring is a really gorgeous time for those that live in Jervis Bay and those that visit. Many native wild- flowers bloom putting on a glorious show and tempting bird and insect pollinators making bushwalking and bird watching quite the spectacle.All Year Round
