This amazing resource shares Indigenous Weather Knowlegde from all around Australia.

Here on the South Coast we most closely follow the D’harwal (North of the Shoalhaven river) and are now entering the time of ‘Burran’.

This means we have hot and dry conditions,

The blooming of the Weetjellan/Hickoery wattle (Acacia implexa) indicates that fires must not be lit.

My husband and I did a 2 hour whale watch cruise today and it was amazing. The captain and crew were fantastic and the whales really put on a show for us. We had whales going under the boat and rolling around in the water within metres of our vessel. Perfect day, thank you.
