Whale Watching Cruises
The Whale Watching Season is a very exciting time of year here for us at DWC. We are blessed by the presence of Whales on the East Coast of Australia and in Jervis Bay especially from May- November each year. Seeing these giant marine mammals Is an unforgettable experience that is impossible to forget quickly. Throughout the whale Watching Season we have 2 hour cruises daily on Explorer I or Explorer II – it is a good idea to rug up! – (See Blog post “What to wear”). We also have selected dates for three hour cruises on board Tekin III.Our Jervis Bay Scenic Cruises are the BEST way to discover Jervis Bay, our experienced crew have extensive local knowledge of the area and are always happy to share the love of Jervis Bay and it’s history with visitors from near and far! Guests on board our Best of Jervis Bay from all over the country and the world often announce that Jervis Bay is “The most BEAUTIFUL place on earth” and we absolutely agree! This is our Gold Class cruise that showcases the Best of the Bay, we never know what we might see and every cruise is different. The Hidden Secrets and Seals and Seacliffs cruises are on board Explorer I and Explorer II and departs throughout the warmer months.This is what Dolphin Watch Cruises are famous and multi award winners for these Cruises depart daily at 10.30am and 1.00pm on board ‘Tekin III – The Spirit of Jervis Bay’ (exact times can vary due to tidal constraints). Cruises on board Tekin III, are a leisurely hour and half cruise that are a great way to get a taste for Jervis Bay and learn why the Bay is so pristine and home to plentiful marine life. This cruise is perfect for all ages, with room to move for children and plenty of seating and viewing options for everybody! Complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits is served on board, we also have a licensed bar (STRICTLY no byo alcohol) for you to enjoy. You are also welcome to pack or bring your own lunch/snacks.
