Jervis Bay is located 2.5 hours South of Sydney and the same time from Canberra. If coming from Sydney stop off at the Royal National Park (Australia’s FIRST & the WORLDS SECOND National Park) and watch the hang gliders soar from Bald Hill!

If you’re traveling from Canberra, improvements to Nerriga/Braidwood Road make the journey by road a beautiful and efficient one. Make sure you stop at the Shoalhaven River for a dip or the Nerriga Pub for lunch. Tianjara Falls on Braidwood Road is also a highlight!

If driving at night or dawn/dusk please be mindful of wildlife.

TOP TIP: When planning your route – make sure HUSKISSON is your destination in your GPS – (NOT Jervis Bay)Don’t have a car?

That is okay! Although a little longer, Sydney Trains on the South Coast Line, travel every day along the coast with a train swap at Kiama, making it a great train trip. Nowra coaches also have daily routes to Huskisson and Jervis Bay.

There are also a few companies which offer a shuttle from Sydney Airport everyday!
