Jervis Bay- How to get here

Jervis Bay- How to get here

The pristine paradise of Jervis Bay, is a very special place to visit.

Bordered by beautiful National Parks, ideal for walking, sightseeing and learning about local environments and people.

Jervis Bay its self has long been a protected marine sanctuary home to an abundance of marine life, making it a world class destination for, divers and holiday makers!

Plus those lucky enough to live here!

The Best Way?

Jervis Bay is located 2.5 hours South of Sydney and the same time from Canberra. If coming from Sydney stop off at the Royal National Park (Australia’s FIRST & the WORLDS SECOND National Park) watch the hang gliders soar from Bald Hill!

From Canberra, improvements to Nerriga/Braidwood Road make the journey by road a beautiful and efficient one. Make sure you stop at the Shoalhaven River for a dip or the Nerriga Pub for lunch- Tianjara Falls is also a highlight!

If driving at night or dawn/dusk please be mindful of wildlife.

TOP TIP: When planning your route – make sure HUSKISSON is your destination in your GPS – (NOT  Jervis Bay)

Don’t have a car?

That is okay! Although a little longer from Sydney Trains Travel every day along the coast making a great train trip. Nowra coaches also have daily routes to Huskisson and Jervis Bay.

There are also a few companies which offer a shuttle from Sydney Airport everyday!

We don’t have UBER here ?

"Had a great 2 hours on the boat."

Had a great 2 hours on the boat. the weather was good and the sea was calm. the captain found a group of 10 dolphins as soon as the boat left the harbour. at one point the boat was nearly on top of them and my wife got some photos. We also saw a sea eagle! Free coffee, tea and water available.
